Do plants have a Brain?

Neurobiological Investigations:
Recent developments in molecular biology and neurobiology techniques have allowed researchers to delve into the cellular and molecular processes underlying plant behavior. Investigations of plant signaling pathways, responses to hormones, and adaptive strategies reveal valuable knowledge regarding the possibility that a more decentralized form of intelligence may be present in the botanical domain.

Dr. Greg Gage during his speech at TED, experimented on the Mimosa pudica, a plant whose leaves close when touched, and the Venus flytrap to an ECG to show us how plants use electrical signals to convey information, prompt movement and even count.

He stated that when we ask “What has a brain”, students will instantly tell you that their cat or dog has a brain, and most will say that a mouse or even a small insect has a brain, but almost nobody says that a plant or a tree, or a shrub has a brain.

My question is;

Do other plants also have the same effect?

Is this effect only noticeable in certain quick-response plants?
