Nature Sound Characteristics (Robins and Blackbirds, Petar Paunchev)

The dB average for the Natrure sound treatment was 54.08 +/- 6.28 dB.
Max was 84.7dB (only 2% of the total readings were over 70dB) and Min was 48.20dB.

© 2021 Petar Paunchev. It was recorded in Central Balkan Natural Park, Bulgaria. It contains blackbirds and robins chirping.

This was measured with a sound meter (1) capturing points every 5 seconds for 10 hours and 25 minutes.

My computer did not like trying to analyze such a large file. This took me multiple hours to render.

I have shown a close up of the waveform in Fig 1a, but everything else is compressed to show the whole sound file (8 hrs) to show the distribution at scale.

I don't know exactly how to make sense of all of this data. If someone could let me know exactly the best way to analyze it and give me insights, It would be very much appreciated!

There are peak frequencies ranging from 2kHz-8kHz across the recording.

For those that are interested in what I have been listening to constantly throughout this experiment (because the soundproofing is not 100% efficient on my enclosure), the sound file can be found here. This is not for distribution, only for listening.
It is very relaxing to be listening to constantly :)
